The other day it became known that now in the Russian Federation there is an active phase of developing an innovative methodology for state quality control and phytosanitary safety of domestic grain, as well as products from it.

At the moment, it is known that the experts of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation decided to develop a new system to significantly improve the quality of grain products, which is sold both domestically and abroad.

According to the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, all interested relevant departments can take part in the creation of the new methodology. It is reported that everyone can send their proposals to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation until April 24, 2019.

It is known that up to this date, public debates are held in the country regarding the regulatory framework for innovation. As soon as all applications from the competent departments are accepted, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture will begin to develop a methodology taking into account the wishes and rational proposals from interested parties.

It will not be superfluous to note that the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office recently shared its thoughts on grain quality control in the country and came to the conclusion that the Rosselkhoznadzor and Rospotrebnadzor take insufficient measures to check the products for compliance with state requirements.
