Representatives of the agricultural sector of the Republic of Tatarstan joined the all-Russian campaign for the preparation of feed for livestock.

According to the press service of the Republican Ministry of Agriculture and Food, to date, farmers in the region have managed to mow over one hundred eighty two and a half thousand hectares of fields sown with perennial grasses.

As a result, it was possible to harvest at least fifty thousand tons of hay, including pressed hay (about forty-eight thousand tons from the total mass). It was also laid more than three hundred seventy-nine thousand tons of haylage. Of these, about three and a half thousand tons were in the package.

Among the leaders of harvesting production, one can distinguish the farmers of the Atninsky district, who managed to harvest thirty-four thousand tons of hay and about five hundred tons of hay. In second place were procurers from Zainsky district with an indicator of twenty-five thousand tons of haylage; the volume of harvested hay exceeds four hundred tons.

Analysts analyzed the amount of feed currently harvested in the Republic of Tatarstan and came to the conclusion that today every individual cattle in the region is provided with feed in the amount of two and a half centners.
