In the expanses of the Altai Territory, the pace of sales of farm animals from the "breeding" category has significantly increased.

It is reported that we are talking about a two-fold increase in sales compared to the same period last year, 2018.

Based on the information released by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, to this day from the beginning of this year, one thousand six hundred and fifty-five individuals of the agricultural population of Altai Krai have been sold.

Representatives of cattle are in special demand - about one thousand three hundred ninety-nine individuals were sold alone. It is noteworthy that most of the sold cows belong to the so-called category of meat productivity.

It will not be amiss to add that livestock produced in the Altai Territory in recent years has been particularly popular in different parts of the Russian Federation, from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok.

However, the region is not limited only to domestic purchasers and sends consignments of pedigree cattle to the market of Mongolia and Kazakhstan, as well as to Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijani purchasers. Industry experts also report the resumption of livestock sales to the Far East market.

It is important to add that today about sixty pedigree farms and similar organizations work in the Altai Territory.
