New tools for obsolete machines fill the niches of agricultural machinery.
There is an interesting trend in the agricultural equipment industry these days. Many companies have a lot of obsolete machines, and as farmers improve their management, they see the need to bring these old machines to a higher level.
On the territory of Ukraine there are about 50 monuments of tractors.
Recently, John Deere emphasized that even the 4430 can be updated with a StarFire receiver and Gen 4 display, and even add AutoTrac with the replacement of the AutoTrac universal steering wheel. But now there is a new option for adding John Deere AutoTrac to an obsolete green car - or even to a competitive brand.
The new AutoTrac Controller 300 is a continuation of what the company called AutoTrac Universal. “In fact, it’s connected to the hydraulic steering of the machine and you are constantly servicing the operator station,” says John Micheler, marketing manager at John Deere. “We are directing the integrated AutoTrac experience to these machines.”
Installing an optional automatic steering system in an old tractor not ready for automatic steering can be a daunting task. For John Deere, previous kits will include special hoses for different models.
