In the Ulyanovsk region, the participants in the sowing spring campaign went to the finish line.

According to representatives of sowing events and analysts of the agro-industrial complex of the region, today about 503 thousand hectares are sown with spring crops, which makes up more than 77% of the plan planned for this spring.

More than 304 thousand hectares from the above-mentioned area are reserved for leguminous spring crops (92% of the planned works). As for industrial plants, their Ulyanovsk landowners planted 142.5 thousand hectares.

If we talk about spring potatoes, then its area today occupy 773 hectares in the Ulyanovsk open spaces, and other vegetables settled in an area of ​​436 hectares. Forage crops today occupy an area of ​​55085 hectares.

According to data shared with the public in the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Ulyanovsk Region, the condition of almost all crops (more than 90% of the total crop area) in the region is assessed as satisfactory.

Among the leaders of spring sowing, it is possible to single out the agrarians of the Staromainsky district, who managed to increase the area under spring sowing by 46% in a week. The second place can be awarded to farmers from the Nikolaev district with an indicator of plus 35%. Bronze goes to the Sur district, whose agrarians increased the percentage of sown land by 30.5%.
