The hot time to process a generous harvest of sugar beets started in the vast Krasnodar Territory.
It is known that the representatives of the processing plants of the Leningrad and Kurganinsky regions of the region were the first to produce sugar this year. Together, they managed to produce two thousand tons of granulated sugar.
Such information was shared with the public by Veniamin Kondratiev, who heads the regional administration of the Krasnodar Territory.
The governor also hastened to note that at the moment there are sixteen factories operating in the region for processing beetroot raw materials into sugar. It is encouraging that each of the sixteen combines is ready for a large-scale sugar season.
It will not be superfluous to note that the employees of the enterprises carefully prepared for the impending time of mass processing. A total of about two billion rubles was spent on resource modernization.
And today, the administrations of all Krasnodar sugar refineries assure that by joint efforts they will be able to process over twelve million tons of beetroot in a season.
It is noteworthy that last year the Krasnodar Territory provided twenty percent of the total sugar production in the Russian Federation, having released one million three hundred thousand tons of sand to the market. According to Governor Kondratiev, this year the results will be "definitely not worse."
