Today in the Republic of Buryatia the so-called social flocks of sheep demonstrate excellent growth. Local authorities, public organizations and enterprise managers distribute lambs to needy farmers for their subsequent breeding. This year, the lucky ones received about five thousand long-awaited lambs from the community of local Buddhists.

According to the head of the company, Damba Ayushev, today 42 needy families are included in the program of social flocks. And very soon such happy families. Who will have at their disposal a herd of lambs will be 53 already.

It is noteworthy that this project has been successfully implemented in Buryatia since 2012. Thanks to this program, sheep breeding is developing in the republic, and residents of the region are getting jobs.

It should be noted that proceeding from the project contract, owners of flocks a year after receiving the lambs must return part of the flock to the donors - so that new flocks are formed from them and new families are pleased with the sheep. The money to buy the first lambs for this program was personally allocated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
