In the process of conducting inspections and audits on the territory of agricultural enterprises in the meat and dairy sector of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, experts from supervisory departments took biological material of one hundred and five cattle for laboratory analysis.
Samples were sent to the table of authorized experts who checked the blood serum of Nizhny Novgorod cows for diseases such as brucellosis and leukemia.
Unfortunately, the research results were disappointing. The fact is that in many cows that are kept on the farms of the Diveevo region, as well as in cows from the Ardatov stalls, susceptibility to cattle leukemia viruses was found.
In addition, representatives of the veterinary surveillance service were able to identify that when entering farms with cows from the risk zone, there is no disinfection barrier or even fencing of farmland. This suggests that the likelihood of a spread of cattle leukemia infection and other diseases is significantly high.
Due to the fact that owners of agricultural enterprises that do not provide for epizootic safety measures are negligent in their direct duties, the supervisor provided them with penalties. The total amount of fines exceeds thirty three thousand rubles.
