According to the head of the land department of A'Spik Group Anatoly Salashinsky, the state of sugar beet crops on the fields of the company as a whole is normal. However, the heat affected the spread of cercosporosis.

“An abnormal high temperature contributed to the development of cercosporosis, so we allotted additional plots that were planned for late digging to stop the spread of the disease, because it reduces the level of sugar content of the roots,” he said.

In general, according to Anatoly Salashinsky, the phytosanitary condition of crops does not cause much concern.

A'Spik Group will use its own fleet of equipment for harvesting root crops, and attract third-party contractors to transport the waste to the plant.
