Based on the data released by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, over the next decade and a half, the country's authorities intend to invest huge sums of money in the development of domestic crop production.

The main goal of farmers for the next 15 years is to achieve colossal volumes of grain production in the amount of at least 150 million tons per year.

In addition, analysts suggest that domestic grain consumption may increase by at least 12% and has every chance of reaching 86.6 million tons.

According to specialists of the department, starting from the current year until 2035, about 3.4 trillion rubles will be invested in the grain growing industry, the lion's share of which (almost 3.3 trillion rubles) will be spent on the purchase of special equipment for the fields. We are talking about combines, tractors, etc.

It will not be superfluous to note that in 2018, the volume of production of grain and legumes on the fields of the Russian Federation amounted to 112.9 million tons, of which slightly more than 72 million tons of wheat.

Based on forecasts for the current year, the next harvest season can bring about 118 million tons to Russian farmers, of which wheat will be estimated at 76-78 million tons.
