Over the next four years, the pace of barley production for the brewing industry in the Republic of Tatarstan has every chance of an intensive increase.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the region, all the prerequisites for an increase in the production of malting barley appeared during the signing of a special agricultural project, the implementation of which will begin in the very near future.

The corresponding agreement was concluded between members of the republican government and representatives of the world-famous beer company AB InBev Efes.

It is important to add that the implementation of all steps of the agreement in accordance with the agro-project will help employees of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan bring to a qualitatively new level both the properties of brewing barley grain and its yield indicators.

Therefore, in the very near future, the active development of selection of this culture will begin. In addition, advanced technologies from leading world companies with rich experience will be introduced into the barley production process.

The organizers of the agricultural program intend to make every effort to reduce the negative impact on the environment during the production of beer from Tatar barley. In addition, one of the priority tasks of the direction is the creation of jobs in the field of growing grain, its processing, etc.
