Two new holidays are established in the Republic of Tajikistan. It is about the Day of grapes and the Day of apples. The corresponding order was agreed by the Tajik president Emomali Rahmon with his signature.
From now on, every third Saturday of August, Tajik farmers and all concerned citizens will celebrate Grape Day. As for Apple Day, this holiday will be celebrated in the country every third Saturday of September.
In honor of each of these holidays, the authorities of cities, regions and other business entities will organize entertainment, educational, educational events for the population, including festivals, fairs, exhibitions, tastings, etc.
It will not be superfluous to note that, for example, grape plantations occupy one third of the total area of all Tajik garden lands. Almost every owner grows juicy grapes of different varieties at his farmyard.
The total area of vineyards in Tajikistan is sixty thousand hectares. The harvesting campaign begins in late July and ends in late autumn with the collection of late berry varieties.
