From today, May 6, 2019, the import into the territory of the Republic of Belarus of goods manufactured in the production shops of individual enterprises of the Russian Federation is temporarily limited.

We are talking about products whose quality does not fully comply with the requirements prescribed in the technical regulations of the Customs Union, it implies food safety.

For example, traditional brand butter does not correspond to the indicated status of a premium product with a mass fraction of fat content of more than 82%, as Belarusian experts identified vegetable fats in the composition of this butter.

As for the sterilized canned products, designated as “Raspberry Jam,” made by Golden Globus company, preservatives in the form sulfur dioxide.

In the composition of the products indicated on the labels, this ingredient was not indicated. Glazed marshmallows made by employees of the Nevsky Product Society also found themselves in a similar situation - sulfur dioxide not declared in the composition was also found there.
