Immediately in the twelve districts of the Ryazan region, an active campaign began on the procurement of feed for farm animals.
It is known that individual farmers, as well as representatives of agricultural and livestock enterprises, joined the process of mowing herbs.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, to date, farmers in the Ryazan region have managed to mow at least twenty and a half thousand hectares by sending about two thousand tons of hay from natural grasses and seeded crops to the general “feed piggy bank” of the region eighty thousand tons of haylage.
According to analysts, at the moment, each cow in the Ryazan region is already provided with two centners of feed, but the process continues.
It is noteworthy that the plans of the Ryazan forage harvesters include the preparation for each individual cattle of at least twenty-eight centners of rough and succulent feed.
It is also important to add that for the upcoming wintering the Ryazan agrarians intend to harvest more than one hundred thirty-four thousand tons of hay, about four hundred thousand tons of hay and at least seven hundred forty-five thousand tons of silage.
For this, tens of thousands of hectares of annual crops and corn were planted in the region.
