Land preparation for landing

The first layer is laid drainage 30–50 cm high, then the layer of manure (compost) 30–40 cm high, wood ash (3 st. / M²), nitrofoska (100 g / m²) are added. The last layer is laid on fertile soil (turf mixed with humus, sand or sawdust in a ratio of 2: 2: 1).

Before planting, you should warm the soil - in the beds, make holes deep in the bayonet of a shovel and pour warm water into them. After the earth warms up, it needs to be loosened.

Before proceeding with the cultivation of cucumbers, you should familiarize yourself with the maximum and minimum acceptable temperature standards for this plant, as well as with methods of regulating the temperature. After all, it is this indicator that affects the growth and development of a vegetable crop, the quality of fruits, the development of diseases.
