Brazilian exporters sent dangerous goods to the Kaliningrad region: a consignment of soybeans “accompanied” with dangerous quarantine objects arrived in the westernmost Russian region.

“Together with 84 thousand tons of soybeans, export glanders and a string of hairy ones were found in the export product, which cause a lot of trouble to farmers in South America, as well as the USA, Switzerland and Japan,” employees of the Rosselkhoznadzor noted. - For example, Ipomoea pitted during the growth period entwines with plants growing in the neighborhood, relies on them and completely drowns out their growth and development. Once on the field, morning glory quickly multiplies and destroys entire plantations of useful plants. ”

As for the hairy string, it reduces the yield of various crops. Seeds of this series have spiky hairs, bristles with which they cling to animal hair, people's clothes, and wheels of cars, which contributes to the spread of weed.

To stop the spread of quarantine crops on Russian fields, the Rosselkhoznadzor employees sent Brazilian soybeans for special treatment, in which the seeds of morning glory and rows will be completely deprived of viability.
