Employees of agricultural facilities of the Orenburg region managed to end the spring campaign in their region on time.

It is noteworthy that they managed not only to plant various cereals and legumes in territories with a total area of ​​at least two million hectares, but also, thereby, overfulfill the plan by one percent.

If we talk about such crops as rice, sunflower, corn, etc., then a little more than a million hectares were allocated for the sowing of these plants in the Orenburg region this year.

And it was the corn and sunflower fields sown in 2019 that allowed regional farmers to overfulfil the spring plan for the current season.

It will not be superfluous to note that the Orenburg region has so far fulfilled all the agreements with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation regarding the 98% tangential sowing of grain.

In particular, it was possible to save more than six hundred twenty thousand hectares of winter crops from the negative impact of weather conditions this spring. As for those fields that could not be protected from the weather, Orenburg farmers have already managed to sow about fifty and a half thousand hectares at the site of plants that died in the spring.
