Over the year, meat products in Ukraine have become 16% more expensive, which was announced by the head of the Ukrainian Association of Distribution Network Suppliers Aleksey Doroshenko.

Compared with April last year, home-made boiled pork increased in price by 12%. Its cost has reached the mark of 270.9 UAH / kg, the expert says.

Raw smoked sausage Braunschweig has become more expensive by 13%, now its price is 369.7 UAH / kg. Sausages such as salami and smoked sausages did not spare the price increase.They immediately went up by 18% to 129.4 UAH / kg, milk sausages became more expensive by 20%, to 77.1 UAH / kg, sausages with cheese increased in price by 22% and their cost reached 140.6 UAH / kg, sirloin sausages became 22% more expensive, and their price rose to 123.1 UAH / kg, said Aleksey Doroshenko.

Recall that pork prices are rising every day around the world, which is associated with large losses of pig production in China from ASF. Even slight fluctuations in demand from the PRC provoke powerful changes in the world market.Inside Ukraine, pork prices are also high and will not decline in the near future. Already, there is a shortage of pork meat in the country due to ASF. Ukraine depends on imports of pork, which it buys at high prices on the world market. And there pork prices are stably high.
