In the Lviv region seriously engaged in soil restoration. This year, 780 thousand UAH were allocated for the implementation of measures to preserve and reproduce fertility from the regional budget.

As noted, in the framework of the comprehensive program of support and development of agro-industrial production of the Lviv region for 2016-2020, agricultural producers of the region are actively involved in the conservation and reproduction of soil fertility.
They, in particular, sow green manure and liming soils.
The soil of French vineyards is considered so valuable that workers must scrape it off their shoes in order to get it back.
Direct speech: “According to the results of the competition, 22 farms of the region received financial support in accordance with the used areas for sidereal crops at the rate of 500 UAH / ha. and liming by adding lime reclamants at the rate of 1 thousand UAH / ha. ”, the message says.
As noted in the department, a complex of positive changes occurring in soils under the influence of liming and sowing of green manure crops in the roots improve their fertility and significantly increase the yield of farmed crops.
