Fishing is complicated by weather conditions, freezing of water, in addition, the way of life of the prey also changes depending on the season, and if you do not know all these features, then you can go fishing empty-handed. They differ in the material of manufacture, depending on the type of bait, both on live bait and on the winder.

But if the whip is very hard, then a nod will come in handy. In this case, its length should not exceed 3-5 cm.

For balancer

Lavsan devices created for the balancer. Also use silicone parts or a soft spring from the fishing line, which is pre-boiled. But they, unlike lavsan, have a big minus - in the cold they are ineffective.

Today many types of parts for winter rods have already been invented. There are both classic gatekeepers and unusual ones, which at first glance are unclear how to apply. Manually creating a nod is easy, especially since the availability of materials allows you to do this.

Lavsan nod

Lavsan in sensitivity is one of the first places among materials for gatekeepers. Today it is very popular among fishermen. Many gladly replaced the boar with bristles for lavsan, as it is difficult to get.

Metal

Metal nods are as common as dacron. Manufacturers prefer to use stainless steel. This type of gatehouse responds well to biting. The advantages include the fact that it does not respond to temperature changes and is resistant to winds. The disadvantage is that it is easily deformed.

From a plastic bottle

Making a gatehouse out of a plastic bottle is easy. It will turn out easy. It is used in case of fishing on medium or large mormyshki. First you need to cut off the neck of the bottle, and then process it with sandpaper. With scissors and an emery cloth, give a piece of plastic the necessary width, length and thickness. In the narrowest place you need to punch a small hole for fishing line. At the end, attach the element to the fishing rod.

Out of the clock spring

A spring nod can be made from a clock spring. There is also a nod from a coil spring. Each applies to a specific fish and for a separate fishing technique. The watch spring gatehouse will be a great help when hunting perch or roach. To build such a device, you need to align the spring and cut off 15 cm.

Inventive people managed to come up with a nod from the x-ray film. This type is suitable exclusively for light claws that will be used in shallow water. To make this detail, you need to cut out a strip of the required length and width from the film. More than one type of gatehouse can be built from an X-ray film. For example, stiffening ribs can also be added to the usual version of nodding.

To bend the right places, just pushing down on them with a ballpoint pen. After all the ribs are cut, they are folded inward, and the workpiece itself is aligned in any convenient way, whether it is a ruler, stick or nail. Also, ribs can be converted into springs. These gatehouses practically do not differ in work.

Technique and tactics of nod fishing

In the summer time for fishing, the most suitable are long fishing rods with a rigid formation and a side nod. The tackle should be as light as possible, because you have to walk a lot of time with it, without letting go of your hands. In preparation for fishing, the rod needs to be laid out, the fishing line wound around the blank and passed through a small ring in a nod, and a jig attached to the end of the fishing line.

Important! If you hunt predatory fish, then at the end of the line you should attach a balancer or spinner, preferably a vertical one.

Using the side gatehouse, you can catch fish in several ways at once:

1. Fall and rise - the bait falls to the bottom, after which, in small jerks of 10-15 cm, it rises to its original position upward. The process is repeated until the catch.
2. Bottom game - the mormyshka falls to the very bottom of the reservoir, then it is raised 10 cm upwards and creates small vibrations, as natural as possible. Such a game lasts about 2 minutes, after which the bait again sinks to the bottom, and the process repeats.
3. Finger play - in this case, everything happens the same as in the game at the bottom. The difference is that the mormyshka gets vibrations from tapping the rod with his fingers.
4. Tension - the technique is used in reservoirs with the flow. The bait is lowered to the bottom, and then slowly raised to the surface.
5. Jerk - the bait is lowered into the water for a couple of meters, and after that it rises 40 cm up in a jerk.
6. Drawing - Mormyshka sinks to the bottom, where it should remain all the time. Thanks to the gatehouse, the mormyshka will move forward and naturally, which will attract prey.
7. Quiet hunt - the bait is thrown into the water column and quietly wait until the bite begins.

When fishing, one cannot be 100% sure of the result. The fish is unpredictable, so it is almost impossible to predict which bait or fishing technique it is. You should be prepared for different scenarios and use as many techniques and tactics as possible in one run. In winter fishing, experts recommend playing mormyshka adrift. So there will be more chances to catch fish, because any insect, having got into the water, moves strictly along the course.

Fishing is not only hunting and sports, but also a way to relax and rest. Each fisherman prefers his fishing method.
